How this product operates

Editorial and route-information policy

One mountain can have several routes

We separate the mountain from each route. We do not recommend a route until we have a current source for access, trailhead, permits, guides, logistics, route geometry, terrain, turnaround rules, emergency contacts and return transport.

Old information is not shown as current

If an operating detail expires or its authority cannot be reached, the field becomes unavailable and the route is removed from recommendations. Historical images remain dated and cannot prove current access, conditions, difficulty or safety.

Images and maps

Every documentary image identifies its creator, source, licence, modifications and capture date. We do not copy Google Images or draw a route line from memory. Safety-sensitive destinations receive a named human review before publication.
